Heroes? by Vantressa Brown - USA

When I grew up and realized that innocent Animals were dying because of human consumption. That really hurt and changed my life.
To stop supporting and eating ‘meat’ made me stronger and made me realize that people on this earth are cruel, selfish and only care about themselves.
I know a lot of people ask me, what will I eat or why should I stop eating meat? Every moment of my life I wish that people that said that to me would become an Animal or see that animal screaming for its life when a human kills it.
What’s completely weird is that Animals love, obey and still trust us even though we do these things to them. Would a human still love and trust you? No, they would try to kill or harm you in a bad way.
They say humans are the heroes. Are they really? I hear on the news about humans raping children, raping women, killing family members, killing and torturing children, etc. Yes, some animals do kill. But that’s man’s fault. Humans teach animals to kill, train dogs to attack people (in order to protect their homes), and many more horrible things. And humans say animals are just stupid beings and their purpose on this earth is death.
Did you know those animals are fighting in the Iraq war also along with those courageous and brave men and women? I read in an article that this writer said, “Heroes, these dolphins? No, just statues, but they remind us of the live critters doing work for us in the war.”
Humans don’t have a conscience.
