Global (non-animal testing) Charities Directory

Global Animal, Vegetarian and Environmental / Conservation Groups Directory

One of the main missions of Looking-Glass and VeggieGlobal is to allow smaller, more remote charities and non-profit groups a chance to be accessed easily through this popular web experience.
VeggieGlobal's carefully administered:
Global Charities Directory
and
Global Animal, Vegetarian and Environmental / Conservation Groups Directory

...
provides such a service.

Both directories cover the world, and are manually entered into our pages to ensure that they are kept as up to date as possible. The organizations in the directories are periodically checked to see how they are running.
We have regular communication with many of the organizations listed and try to promote specific activities according to their most immediate needs - either through appeals or news items elsewhere around Looking-Glass, VeggieGlobal and Looking-Glass Global News.
When a charity or group applies to our directories, they have to answer a list of questions on their application. We then check, as much as is feasibly possible, that the details are genuine and correct and that the organization is suitable for the directories.

We have a strict criteria of what types of charities and groups we allow in the directories.

In the Charities Directory:
We do not list charities that conduct or fund experiments on animals.
We do not list charities dealing with self-inflicted human health conditions.
Animal charities must support a no-kill policy.

In the Groups Directory:
We do not knowingly list groups affiliated with activists who conduct violent or threatening acts against individuals.
We do not list conservation groups whose policy is to manage land that involves the culling of animals.

If you know of any proven reason why an organization should be excluded from the directories please let us know by contacting us
