Looking-Glass and Veggieglobal's campaign investigating food products labelled suitable for vegetarians. Are all veggie labelled foods totally meat free? This is just one aspect of our NOVA KEY label project; a long-awaited global, ethical labelling system for all foods and products, which shows whether or not they are meat-free, tested on animals or contain artificial ingredients.

We invite you to vote on this - The NOVA Key - so we can encourage all manufacturers and governments around the world to make this a compulsory global labelling system on all products. We invite other vegetarian, animal welfare, environmental and health-watch groups to join us and to help promote this important project.

Ban The Bang! is Looking Glass and VeggieGlobal's popular online campaign to ban the public sale of loud fireworks.
Each year, thousands of wild birds and animals simply die of fright from the noise of fireworks in back yards. Young children and the elderly are also affected by the excessive noise of fireworks.
We are not being killjoys here because Ban the Bang! presents a practical set of proposals that should keep most people happy and at the same time help reduce the devastating effects on your local environment.
Along with thousands of your comments and pictorial evidence, Ban The Bang! gives you ongoing news about the fireworks situation in the UK and around the world. You can vote instantly or help by leaving a comment or downloading The Ban the Bang! window posters (soon in various languages).

The Green School Run

We'll be encouraging children to get their parents and schools to organize lift sharing school runs. We want to ease the huge amount of traffic and subsequent pollution created each morning and afternoon by 50%. This can be done by referring to our simple mapping and allocating system. It allows teachers and parents to fill up otherwise half empty cars (and those spotless, huge four wheel drive status symbols that have never been anywhere near a mud track!), collecting and dropping of other classmates in the same geographical areas as their own homes. Simple and obvious? ... but who's doing it?!
