I think it is a great idea because food, clothing and cosmetics
labels these days simply seem to confuse rather than inform.
The NOVA Key concept takes the key things people would like
to know about a product and makes them much clearer straight
away.

This is something that is useful for people who aren't
vegetarian or vegan, health conscious people will benefit
from this labelling as well.
... I think this whole thing is wonderful.

I would feel so much more comfortable if I could tell at first
glance at a product and figure out if I could eat it as a
vegan. Yes for NOVA Key Labeling.

Why should we be deceived by food manufacturers? I am
sure they would recall products with broken glass in? Well
that's how I feel when an animal by-product has passed my
lips! Yes for NOVA Key Labeling.

It should be applied to alcohol too. Ones over a certain,
very low ABV don't have to list their ingredients and many
are filtered with issinglass etc.
The
NOVA Key (VeggieGlobal & Looking-Glass) Replies:
The NOVA Key does indeed cover alcohol too (see
NOVA Key examples on drink)

I think we all have a right to know what is being put into
the food's we eat. If companies wish to hide the fact's then
maybe they should be considering the ethics behind the product's
they are using.Yes for NOVA Key Labeling.
