Ingredients Check List

A manufacturer must correctly "initialize" the NOVA Key on their product.This means they may need to add a cross to a NOVA letter to clearly show if, for example, that the product is NOT suitabe for vegetarians, and so on.
The "Current Trust Rating" (from 0 to 100%) on the checklist shows how successful the manufacturer has been at applying the NOVA Key to its products without wrongly initializing the letters. The higher the Trust Rating percentage the better the manufacturer's overall success.
When cross-checking the NOVA Key between an actual product (or restaurant menu) and the list below, it should always be that the check list below is the most correct and up-to-date. If the initialized NOVA Key on the product differs from the initialization on this check list then it's most likely that the Key on the product or menu has been wrongly crossed. Occasionally a product's ingredients may have changed, but the NOVA Key check list reflects these changes straight away. So please refer to this list carefully and if you think that a product listed below is showing an incorrectly initialized "NOVA Key" on its packaging then please use this form to tell The NOVA Key admin.
