SPOOKY
TALE No.1
When
I was 11 my pet Red Setter died in a car accident on a main road
in the New Forest. For years now I have a recurring dream about
my dog where I see her (Velvet) pop out of the house at night (the
dream is in the dark) and I follow her up the road and she dissapears.
Next I find myself outside an early 19th Century bungalow just waiting
by the side door.... I can be there for quite some time in the dream
not sure why I am waiting outside the house. For years I have known
that Velvet was taken by someone in the road and buried - and to
this day do not know who or where she was buried. Next time I go
into this dream I am going to knock the door... oooh creepy... no
I can't ... I'm too scared.

SEEING
MYSELF
The
details of this, as many of my dreams are limited to one particular
event. This was the surreal part. I was at a cocktail party. (I
am not accustomed to attending parties of this nature.) I was standing
at a table looking around the crowd of people that were there. I
looked up and saw ME walking toward me. I kept starring to try to
see what I looked like. I was friendly, dressed appropriately for
the party, and carrying a glass of wine. ( I am accustomed to drinking
wine at parties.) I was heading right for me. I made eye contact
with myself and had a very strange kind of recognition. I suddenly
became very frightened. That's when I awoke. Any thoughts on the
meaning?
- Interpretation
from a Looking-Glass visitor - added 25 JAN 2003
Ever heard of that old saying, I want to get to know myself
better? Well I should think that you would have to be pretty tired
and might even be very relaxed after a few drinks to meet yourself
at a party in your dream. It could even be an 'Out of body experience'.
Next time this happens, don't be afraid, confront and say hello....
